Background

Ubiquity — a global outsourcing firm serving disruptors in financial services, healthcare and e-commerce — faced a brand identity crisis. Years of rapid growth had left its visual identity stitched together from various sources, creating a disjointed brand that didn’t reflect the company’s market position or warm, human-centered approach to customer experience.

Challenge

The outsourcing industry is notorious for branding that prioritizes tech-focused efficiency over humanity, and in the CX space in particular, many competitors seemed to be shouting. Ubiquity was starting to look and sound similar, and as a result, needed to better communicate its unique balance of human expertise and technological innovation. It also wanted to differentiate itself in a sea of neon-bright competitors by building on the equity of its strong logomark with more meaningful visual storytelling.

Solution

To reach decision-makers seeking more meaningful customer experiences, Sunup developed a brand system that transformed the colon in Ubiquity’s logomark into a symbol of omnipresence and connection through a unifying graphic device. A warm, approachable color palette also replaced intensely bright colors (overused in the competitive set), while natural photography and refined voice guidelines emphasized the company’s human-first philosophy alongside its technological capabilities.

Outcome

Ubiquity’s new brand provides the firm with the creative foundation needed to continue scaling with a more human touch — giving it a more ownable position in the market. Likewise, brand guidelines, webpage templates, presentation decks and digital assets have equipped Ubiquity’s global team with the tools needed to maintain consistency across touchpoints while better communicating the firm’s unique offering.

Testimonial

“Working with Sunup made things refreshingly straightforward. There’s none of the ‘too many cooks’ effect you sometimes get with bigger agencies. The quality speaks for itself, but it was the smooth process that really stood out to me. Plus, their lean approach keeps costs competitive. I’ve refreshed or rebranded a few different companies in the past and can honestly say working with Sunup has been the most seamless.”
